Heather Dunn - Certified Yoga Teacher |
Heather Dunn was working in a local bookstore in 1998 when she first picked up a book about Yoga. This book changed her life, taking her on a life long journey of yoga. Along this journey she has not only loved the physical aspect of yoga, but also the spiritual . She has come to live life to the fullest, with love, trust and honesty. She has learned to let go of ego, and accept everything as a gift. This is what she hopes to pass on to her students…the ability to let go and go with the flow and to find the true beauty that lies within everyone. Her class is not about touching your ears to your knees or doing a handstand, it's about being where you are in the moment and loving it.
Heather is certified with YogaFit and is inspired by Erich Schiffman, Seane Corn, Kathryn Budig, and Alan Finger. She is also inspired by and grateful to all of the great teachers she has had along the way. Her style of yoga is a Vinyasa style, while incorporating proper alignment, breathing and meditation. She tries to bring a sense of playfulness and mindfulness to the classroom and encourages the use of props.
