Harmony’s philosophy is that the mind/body/spirit are interrelated. We endeavor to encourage students to explore, develop, and integrate their bodies, minds, and spirits through the learning of Pilates in addition to other movement modalities such as Yoga & Dance.
In addition to the availability of a variety of styles, Harmony promotes a system of self-care and mindfulness that has many benefits beyond the change of just external appearances typically emphasized in many fitness practices.
Not only will alignment and functional movement patterns improve, but a person will also experience the benefits of increased vitality, relaxation, and peace of mind. Muscle tone and strength, an increased circulation of fluids to the internal organs and glands, and a quieting of the nervous system with improved mental concentration can be realized.
